Hugh’s Clock Shop repairs all types of clocks new and old. Whether it be your favorite battery kitchen wall clock or a family heirloom of sentimental value, our professional clock makers will educate you in the best manner to repair, restore or replace your clock.
Your mechanical clock does need periodic maintenance. Although many clocks will run without proper maintenance, it is a mechanical device and will wear out prematurely if not properly serviced. Clocks should be oiled and serviced every 2-3 years. Movements need to be overhauled after about 20- 25 years. This includes disassembly, as well as polishing and cleaning the parts.
Keep in mind, clock repair and warranty are only as good as the repairman working on the piece. Make sure to have your clock repaired by a certified clockmaker. Our full time AWCI certified clockmakers give you professional, fast, and dependable service. Have your clock serviced regularly and protect your investment in time.
Bring your clock to one of our clock shops for an estimate. Or if your Grandfather clock needs service, gives us a call to schedule a house call. Call either of our shops to schedule an appointment and we will come to your location to service your Grandfather clock.
